Zayn Malik made quite the frenzy during Paris Fashion Week. After attending the Kenzo show on Jan. 19, the star was met with a swarm of fans outside eager to get his picture. During the chaos, Malik appeared to get injured when a car approached him and seemingly ran over his foot, causing him to wince in response. Thankfully, the One Direction alum took to Instagram shortly after the incident to confirm that he was okay.
Zayn Malik Tells Fans He’s “Fine” Following Paris Fashion Week Chaos
In his latest Instagram, the singer thanked the French luxury fashion house, Kenzo, as well as its artistic director, Nigo, “for a great show.” Malik then reassured fans that his foot didn’t suffer any significant injuries during Paris Fashion Week by writing:
My foot is fine !!Thanks to my incredibly well made shoes

In case fans needed any more evidence, Malik shared a photo of his white shoes that appeared to only get slightly dirty during the incident. Fans reacted to the star’s post by telling him they’re “glad” he’s okay.
The reason fans went wild over Malik’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week is that it marked his first public event in six years. Previously, he attended Tom Ford’s show during New York Fashion Week in 2018.
Since then, he’s kept a low profile. Instead of being in the spotlight, Malik has opted to live a quiet life on a farm in Pennsylvania. Every so often, he shares new music with fans, like his latest single, “Love Like This,” which he released in July.
Malik also occasionally shares updates about his personal life on Instagram. In September, he celebrated his daughter Khai’s birthday with a lengthy tribute on the social media platform.
Could his Paris Fashion Week appearance hint he’s ready to return to the spotlight after all these years? It seems we’ll just have to wait and see.
