Nintendo continues to support The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with updates to enhance players’ experiences. Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom 1.1.2 patch addresses specific issues related to sound and a quest while including additional fixes to improve gameplay. Let’s dive into the details of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom 1.1.2 Update.

Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Update 1.1.2 Patch Notes

One of the primary focuses of the version 1.1.2 update is to resolve a troublesome audio bug. While the specifics of the bug were not mentioned in the patch notes, players had reported various sound-related issues since the game’s release. Nintendo has listened to the feedback and worked diligently to eliminate these audio bugs, ensuring players a more immersive and enjoyable gaming experience.

Another significant fix in this update is related to the “Camera Work in the Depths” quest, which was reportedly breaking for certain players. Quest-related bugs can particularly frustrate players, hindering progression and immersion in the game’s storyline. With version 1.1.2, Nintendo has addressed this issue, allowing affected players to continue their adventures without any hindrances.

In addition to the bug fixes, the version 1.1.2 update for Zelda: TotK includes “additional fixes” for the main quest. They address minor issues, such as quest-related glitches, balancing tweaks, or improvements to the main storyline.

The most notable change, though, is that the patch actually stops a popular glitch that allowed players to duplicate items. Ever since the game’s launch, players have noted a glitch that allowed them to spawn items, resources, and even gear. Of course, this was never intended by Nintendo and so we should perhaps not be surprised it’s been removed. The full patch notes don’t actually speak to this specific issue, but it is something that has been noted on popular forums.

Audio Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the sound would play at an extremely high volume in certain conditions.

Additional Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the main quest, “Camera Work in the Depths”, where players could not progress beyond a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed past that point.
  • Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

The release of version 1.1.2 marks the third update since the game’s launch, indicating ongoing support and responsiveness to player feedback.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
