The second update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has finally dropped. Nintendo Switch owners might have already seen this update pop up on their console, but if you didn’t be sure to update now. Tears of the Kingdom has run pretty well for a game that just released, unlike many other games as of late. While fans haven’t complained about any glitches, there are a few things Nintendo has been working on. Below are the general updates in patch 1.1.1. via the Nintendo official website.
General Updates
- Fixed issue where, sometimes, the player could not clear the main quest “The Closed Door,” even if they fulfilled the conditions to advance the quest.
- If you have already encountered this issue, you will be able to clear the quest by downloading this updated data.
- Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.
How To Update Tears of the Kingdom
In case players might not know how to update their game, here is a simple set-by-set process to update Tears of the Kingdom. here are the steps via the Nintendo website to get Zelda but also all other games to the latest version.
- Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the internet.
- From the HOME Menu, select the icon for the software you wish to update without starting the game or application.
- Press the + or – Button on your controller, then select Software Update followed by Via the Internet.
- Once the update is installed, the newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.
