The spooky season is coming to Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3, and I mean that in a literal way, as the Spook Shack is the faction that will take the spotlight with not two, but three Agents and the continuation of the cryptic and enthralling main story of the game’s second season. On top of that, there are a couple of outfits coming for new and existing Agents, enhancements to some playable characters, and a new scary locale that only the bravest Proxies will want to explore.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3 Launches on October 15
While it wasn’t on the usual Friday spot, Zenless Zone Zero had its Special Program for Version 2.3, “Memories of Dreams Bygone.” It will launch on October 15, meaning you still have a couple of days to wrap everything up with Obol Squad and prepare for the Spook Shack to take center stage. As you can imagine, the next main story quest will feature the aforementioned faction, as it travels alongside the siblings to the new Timesworn Hills region, which is as mysterious as it is scary.
Three characters are coming along for the ride. For the first phase, we’ll have Lucia, an S-Rank Ether Support Agent with the power to recreate Etherals in combat and increase other team members’ HP. Komano Manato will also join Lucia on her banner as an A-Rank Fire Fupture Agent, making him an excellent DPS character. And for the re-run, Vivian is making an appearance, which is fitting as this Mockingbird Agent and Komano are both getting new outfits. Vivian’s outfit will be available in the store, while Komano’s can be earned through a limited-time event.
The second phase will feature Yidhari, an S-Rank Ice Rupture Agent, who is yet another excellent DPS, focusing on Sheer DMG and ignoring enemy defenses. And if you want to get a good Stun Agent, Ju Fufu is getting a re-run during this second phase. But that’s not all when it comes to Agents, as a previous playable character is getting gameplay enhancements, and I’m talking about fan-favorite Soldier 0 – Anby.
In terms of events, there are a lot coming to Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.3, such as Lucia’s TV Schedule, 600 Polychrome as a Starting Gift, the log-in program with 10x Encrypted Master Tapes, an event to get accessories for your Proxy’s outfit, the new Threshold Simulation gameplay mode, an event where we play as Etherals, and much more.
Even if we still have a few days with the Obol Squad, you should start wrapping everything up and getting as much currency as possible, because there are a lot of new characters coming to the game. So, it is time to save up that Polychrome and finish all events because everyone’s roster is about to grow with this wave of new Agents that is coming to New Eridu and beyond.
