What a week for Zenless Zone Zero news. First, we got a big glimpse at Version 1.7, which brings the game’s season one to a close, with two new characters and many events. Not long after, we got the official announcement of Zenless Zone Zero landing on Xbox in June, alongside, wait for it, Version 2.0. That’s right, Proxies. New players jumping into New Eridu for the first time will be able to do so through their Xbox Series X|S consoles and will also have the chance to enjoy the fantastic story that follows Phaeton from Versions 1.0 through 1.7 and then get started with season two.
Zenless Zone Zero Arrives on Xbox This June
If you missed the Xbox Spotlight, the team behind Zenless Zone Zero unveiled many things. First and foremost, the release date. While there isn’t an exact day yet, we know the release window is June. That’s when players will get to experience ZZZ on their Xbox Series X|S consoles alongside Version 2.0. If you also missed the 1.7 Special Program, we did an article compiling everything coming to it so you know what to expect before the game’s second season.
On top of that, Zenless Zone Zero is bringing optimizations tailored specifically for Xbox consoles. For starters, players can enjoy a smooth 4K @60FPS gameplay while also enjoying the console’s DirectX RayTracing and HDR capabilities. Of course, Zenless Zone Zero will also benefit from this platform’s “Quick Resume” feature, meaning you can jump in and out of New Eridu without loading screens. And if that wasn’t enough, all Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to enjoy the game through Xbox Cloud Gaming without having to download it.
In truth, this is the perfect time to start your journey as a Proxy alongside Version 2.0. This major update will bring an immersive narrative with many improvements based on player feedback. Overall, Xbox players will experience the ultimate Zenless Zone Zero experience.
