After many delays and an uncertain future, Zom 100 has announced a three-episode special for its season finale. If you didn’t know, this anime was one of the most beloved during the Summer 2023 season. However, due to several production problems, most episodes suffered delays ranging from a day to a week. The last episode that premiered was the ninth one, and then the studio announced the show would go on hiatus. Thankfully, the wait for fans of this zombie anime is over because Akira and his friends are returning to say goodbye this holiday season.

Zom 100 Will Premiere Its Season Finale on December 25

Mark your calendar because the next big event on Christmas is the season finale for Zom 100. This weekend, VIZ Media announced a special to say goodbye to one of the best shows of the year and unveiled a trailer to celebrate the event. If you don’t remember, the anime’s last episode saw Akira and his friends arriving in the protagonist’s hometown to see his parents. While the rest of Japan is riddled with the living dead, his birthplace is standing strong, at least until the new antagonists cause some trouble, which is what we can see in the latest teaser.

While many are excited for the season finale of Zom 100, there isn’t any official announcement for a second season. This isn’t a surprise, as the studio faced many problems, but fans loved the adaptation, saying it is one of the best this year. Here, we hope to see more of these characters and their adventures while they finish everything on their bucket list.

And if you prefer something different, the lineup for the Winter 2024 season is up. Great shows are coming in January, with some long-awaited second and third seasons, and Solo Leveling is finally getting an adaptation.
