After numerous years operating the cameras for the Mega64 Podcast, as well as appearing sporadically on camera, Eric Baudour has moved on from the company, officially joining Rooster Teeth’s broadcast team.
The news was confirmed on the latest Rooster Teeth Podcast, as Baudour was introduced to First members on the live stream.

While his exact role will be as a Podcast Producer, Baudour won’t simply be limited to the RT Podcast. Rooster Teeth is home to numerous different live production, including weekly podcasts (RT Podcast, Off Topic, Glitch Please), seasonal shows (Always Open), and even productions that are only available for RT First members (Post Shows) on Roosterteeth.com
Baudour has a lot of experience in the content production field, even outside of his work at Mega64. Alongside earning his Bachelors Degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communications from Cal State, he has been working as a content and live production manager at Razor for the past three years.
Over the years Mega64 and Rooster Teeth have made very similar content, both finding huge success with skits, podcast, and other pop culture oriented content. The companies, or even branches (like Funhaus) when it comes to Rooster Teeth, have referenced each other numerous time over the years, be it in merch or mentions.
Mega64 even made an entire video parodying the number of groups that have joined RT in recent years, feigning as if they were the latest ones acquired by the Austin based company.
While he never got an official send-off from the Mega64 Podcast, one can only hope Baudour and the group ended on good terms. If so then it may mean that the two popular sites may finally collaborate with each other.
