Perhaps one of the best things Dragon’s Dogma 2 did was release the customization for free pre-release. It gave people plenty of time to play and discover how far they can push the creator. The possibilities are endless, from stunning and heroic icons to popular fictional characters. But what really can throw the enemy off guard in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a funny character, and the creator grants you all the freedom in the world. These are just 10 of the funniest character creations I’ve seen yet.
10. Shrek
- Creator: MitchenImpossible (Reddit)
Shrek looks as fed up as usual, which makes this Dragon’s Dogma 2 creation so perfectly in character. The user did the best with what they had, which makes this as enjoyable as it is. However, I urge you to exercise caution when looking at Donkey. Shrek’s ever-loyal companion isn’t left out of the fun, but the human version of him is certainly something that never should have existed. If you’re daring, you can view Donkey via the same link above.
9. Major Chip Hazard
- Creator: Rylet_ (Reddit)
Feel the nostalgia when you run around with Major Chip Hazard. He may not have his guns, but he certainly has his stubbornness. And that’s all you ever really need. The chin is what stands out the most here. It’s prominent and in-your-face. It may very well be the most magnificent chin you’ve ever seen.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Starter Guide8. Uncle Ruckus
- Creator: NickDaDic (Reddit)
Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator lacked a warm, charming, and wholesome vibe. Who better to give that to you than Uncle Ruckus? Sarcasm aside, you can truly bring anyone into this world and throw them to the wolves. He’ll probably have a great time. Just look at the smile on his face.
7. Nigel Thornberry
- Creator: Mamoru_of_Cake (Reddit)
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is begging for an adventurer. What a smashing idea then to bring along Nigel Thornberry. If anyone knows their way around, it’s this lovable man. He’s even knighted, which makes him the perfect character for the job. If you didn’t believe his qualifications, just look at that mustache. Only a true hero would sport such a majestic stache.
6. Lord Chadquaad
- Creator: Sparkiee92 (Reddit)
Now, we’ve reached the pinnacle of masculinity. Lord Farquaad, lovingly dubbed “Chadquaad” here, is too incredible to pass up. He’s the right build to sport the typical “hero” look, and his hair is better than any model could dream of. It’s not like he’s going to be doing anything, of course, but who needs to when you look that good?
5. Bobby and Connie
- Creator: MoonCrisisPower (Reddit)
These Dragon’s Dogma 2 characters work best as a pair. Who’s Bobby without Connie to make sure he doesn’t do something stupid to get himself killed? The King of the Hill kids are perfectly aged up here, but it’s funny how Bobby still manages to look both old and young at the same time. Having the two of them makes for perfect role-playing opportunities.
4. Sheldon
- Creator: AmoebaJo (Reddit)
Doesn’t everyone think of Sheldon when you imagine a fierce, brave warrior rushing into battle? Maybe it’s just me then. The character creator captured his lanky frame effortlessly, and he’s bound to make Dragon’s Dogma 2 even more entertaining. If only we could hear a well-delivered “Bazinga” whenever we do something spectacular.
3. Shaggy
- Creator: ItsMe_Dyl (Reddit)
Are there any humans disguised as monsters and ghosts roaming around? In any case, Shaggy is here to pick up the slack for his missing friends. He looks so wonderfully spaced out that you can’t help but enjoy him. Like with Shrek, however, you may not want to peek at Scooby. Running with that version by your side will definitely illicit a few “Zoinks!” When you check out Shaggy at the link, don’t forget to view the next slide to get a peek at Scoobs.
2. Handsome Squidward
- Creator: Paer124 (Reddit)
This is it. If you ever want runway-ready looks, you must go with Handsome Squidward. User Paer124 did a wonderful job capturing his essence in a human form. The character here looks like such a tragic figure, too, like he’s seen the worst of the world. Or maybe he’s just missing his clarinet.
1. Abomination
- Creator: @veryDaveTTV (Twitter/X)
I couldn’t end this without finding something too grotesque to look away from. There’s no name, so I’ll just dub him “Abomination” in the meantime. He’s thick everywhere below the neck. While above the shoulders, it’s like he was squeezed through a narrow bottle. And why is he shiny? It’s less of a wet-from-the-pool look and more of a sweaty look. And he’s exactly what I would expect from such an extensive character creator.
And those are just some of the more amusing characters I’ve seen in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Try your hand at creating some of these, or let your imagination run wild with other made-up or iconic characters. Who you can create is near-limitless.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
