Amy Slaton of 1000-Lb Sisters is dealing with a lot of stress. Being a mother to two small boys is a difficult job. But when you add family obligations and a stressful marriage, it becomes too much. She is at her wit’s end, and she blames her husband, Michael Halterman, for her breakdown.
1000-Lb Sisters’ Amy Lashes Out at Michael
Amy Slaton is dealing with some mental health issues and breakdowns during the latest episode, 1000-Lb Sisters. She has a lot on her plate these days. She says she is caring for her two young sons, Gage and Glenn, on her own. The busy mom claims her husband, Michael, is worthless when helping out with the boys. So she never gets a break or any time to herself.
She reveals she is suffering from depression and exhaustion, and her family members are starting to get concerned for her. So when Amy, Tammy, and Amanda are together, she finally breaks down and begins crying uncontrollably. Amy admits to them that she is having difficulty handling her day-to-day life. She also confesses to her sisters that she blames Michael for the state of her mental health.
The 1000-Lb Sisters’ star tells her sisters she never gets a break. She is the one who is always caring for the kids, the house, and her husband and doing everything else that needs to be done. Amy is at her breaking point and tells them she is unsure how much longer she can go on. She needs help, and she needs it now.
Michael Faces the Slaton Family Firing Squad
Amy Slaton wants to hire a nanny to help out with the boys. But she wants Michael to be interested and get more involved in their children. They are furious when her 1000-Lb Sisters Tammy and Amanda find out that Michael is slacking on his husband and fatherly duties. They tell Amy that she needs to stand up to him and set him straight.
When Michael walks into the room, Amanda goes after him and tells him he needs to help out more. However, he looks confused. Amy then outs her TLC husband and tells her sisters that Michael refuses to watch both boys simultaneously. So she must always take at least one of her sons with her.
The 1000-Lb Sister reveals that Michael plays video games and ignores her and the boys. Amanda demands that Michael help Amy Slaton out more, but first, she wants him to hire a nanny so Amy can have some free time for herself. Amy also admits she wants to go to therapy. She feels she needs some professional help to deal with her depression and anxiety.
But Michael seems to ignore Amy’s cry for help. Luckily, her sisters have her back and are willing to help her through this difficult patch. But if Michael doesn’t step it up, he will have to deal with the wrath of all three of the 1000-lb Sisters stars at once. It doesn’t sound like this is going to end well for him.
