Uncharted 4 will bring developer Naughty Dog’s time with the series to a close, and hopes are high for the finale to Drake’s adventures. The newly released story trailer sheds new light on the highly anticipated title.

We are treated to stunning shots depicting places across the globe; ranging from Africa, small archipelagos in the middle of the ocean, to sunken ships at the bottom of the sea. The game is stunning and looks to feature the same set pieces and intricate action scenes that have made the series what it is today.

Uncharted 4 follows the series dynamic duo of Nathan Drake and Victor “Sully” Sullivan as they reunite with Nate’s long lost brother, Sam, and hunt down a mysterious treasure. The trailer also revealed that we’ll travel back in time once more to delve into Drake’s childhood, as well as seeing what exactly happened between him and his brother.

The ominous nature of the games subtitle has led to much speculation. A death is almost guaranteed, and all we can do is guess who won’t make it to the credits.

Uncharted 4 is being helmed by Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, who previously worked together on the Last of Us and took over Uncharted after several of the key members of the team left Naughty Dog.

Uncharted 4 will provide one final look into the life of Nathan Drake.

Last year Sony released Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. It gathered the story modes of the three original games and remastered them into 1080p and 60FPS. The package did not include the PS Vita game Uncharted: Golden Abyss, as it was deemed to be outside of the original trilogy.

Uncharted 4: A Thieves End will release on April 26, 2016, exclusively for PS4.
