This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

There are nine Facilities in GTA Online that work perfectly for those doomsday preppers. With them being underground and equipped with many upgrades, including an orbital cannon, these are fantastic places to wait for the imminent doom unless you’re a world-class bank robber. Each Facility serves as your entry point to the Doomsday Heist in GTA Online, and while there are many, only a few of them work best due to their locations and distance to objectives. Before you spend your hard-earned cash, here are the best ones to get in the game.

The 5 Best Facility Locations in GTA Online

There are nine Facilities in GTA Online, but we only deem five of them the best for a couple of reasons: how easy it is to access them, how close they are to specific heist objectives, and the area around them. While you can get some of the cheapest ones far away, we don’t recommend it because you’ll spend a lot of time traveling between objectives. So, without further ado, let’s get this list started.

5. Grand Senora Desert Facility

While it is a bit far from civilization, it isn’t too secluded or away from key places. The Grand Senora Desert Facility is perfect for those who want to roleplay as a true secret agent with a hidden spot in the desert. If you leave through the airstrip, you can find many highways that’ll take you back to Los Santos in no time. Plus, those who have a Clubhouse in the desert will find traveling between these places much easier. You can buy it for $2,525,000.00.

4. Route 68 Facility

If you’re not a big fan of desert-like locations, why not try something a little bit greener? This Facility is surrounded by tall mountains, making it worth it just for the exterior views. However, what makes this a great Facility in GTA Online is how close it is to many locations. You can take the same road as the Grand Senora Desert Facility, and you’ll reach Los Santos in minutes, or you can take a shortcut, and if you’re good at handling curves, you’ll reach Los Santos’ wealthiest neighborhoods in no time. It costs $2,312,500.

3. Ron Alternates Wind Farm Facility

The third spot goes to the Ron Alternates Wind Farm Facility, and with good reason. This Facility is one of the most iconic locations on the map. There’s nothing better than leaving your underground base and being welcomed by mountain ranges and a wind farm. Besides that, the highway to Los Santos is next to it, and the price is pretty decent. You can get it for $1,855,000.00.

2. Land Act Reservoir Facility

While other Facilities are great due to their accessibility to roads, we believe this is the ultimate one for those who want to feel like evil geniuses. Located on top of the Water Reservoir of Los Santos, this Facility offers a secluded location surrounded by water and small roads that allow you to escape the cops with ease. Also, Los Santos is pretty close, and you can join any of the main roads to reach the city. You’ll need $2,950,000.00 to buy it.

1. Lago Zancudo Facility

The best of the best. The Lago Zancudo Facility is easily a “have-it-all” packageโ€”first, the access. If you leave your Facility, you’ll find one of Los Santos’ most iconic roads that take you down to the beach or Downtown Los Santos, making it close to other businesses like your Company or Nightclub. If you want to make runs to your Clubhouse, you can take the bridge and reach the desert in no time. However, the best deal about this place is the traveling distance to many objectives. For Acts 1 and 2 of the Doomsday Heist, we found this to be the closest Facility that makes reaching specific prep objectives faster. You’ll need $1,670,000.00 to buy it.

If you’re going to make your first purchase, we recommend getting the Ron Alternates Facility or the Lago Zancudo one solely for the price. If not, the latter is the best of all. Since you might be grinding the Doomsday Heist, having a centric facility for all objectives is better. Time is money in this game, so remember to always pick the one that shortens your travel times.

And if you want to look at all the heist’s missions, here’s a playlist from GTA Series Videos showcasing every objective for this heist of apocalyptic proportions.
