50 Cent isn’t afraid to speak his mind on most subjects. That’s especially true where Diddy is concerned. The longtime hip-hop rivals have had their differences, but 50 has taken it to the next level cleverly.
Using his production company and television experience, 50 Cent has produced a docuseries, sold to Netflix, about the web of allegations and stories surrounding the disgraced music mogul.
In a new interview, the rapper explains that his background in media isn’t the only reason he’s the right person to make the docuseries. Plainly put, he notes, “I’m not on the tapes.”
See, some of the people who have been around in the culture who are not saying anything—that’s because they’ve been to the parties… They don’t know what part of their experiences are on tape. So it keeps them quiet. And it looks like I’m the only guy, but I’ve been [saying] for years that something’s not right.
50 Cent has been one of the most vocal opponents of Diddy for years. Many women in the entertainment industry have come out in support of Diddy’s victims. Still, there are countless celebrities who have been in the producer’s orbit throughout the years who have remained silent.
Diddy Has Kept A Low Profile Since Federal Investigators Raided His Miami Home
Diddy has maintained his innocence throughout the various allegations against him. That said, he has taken a noticeable step back from public life since all these situations have come to life.
Once active on social media, Diddy recently made the decision to start anew — at least on Instagram. He wiped his entire previous social media presence. To date, there are only two photos on the account. One is of teen daughter Chance, in celebration of her 18th birthday last month. The other is of his youngest, Love, in a Caribbean dress with a lei on.
It’s unclear what Diddy’s future holds. No federal charges have been brought against him at this time, but they seem all but certain based on what has played out publicly. The mogul is in more of a precarious situation than ever before, and it doesn’t look like things are letting up any time soon. In the meantime, people wonder whether 50 Cent’s docuseries will simply rehash what’s happened, or reveal new information that makes matters worse.
