Think of this spinoff as the show where the cast gets therapy on the actual show. They have brought back some of the more problematic people from the last few seasons. It looks like there will be a great deal of crying and fighting. Well, more than usual, that is. Another thing this trailer does is show us what is in store for Big Ed’s future on the show.
The first thing that caught headlines about this show is the simple fact they are bringing back Angela Deem. She is possibly the most bothersome person from the original show. We also found out Ed and Liz are coming back. But when we tell you the next part, you may actually go into shock.

We could talk about how cringe the above ad is. We could also discuss how it looks like Ed and Jovi may exchange blows in the actual trailer, but we digress. What is most important here is the fact that it looks like Ed and Liz are actually getting married on the show. It could be argued that Big Ed is what made the original show get so popular. People loved to mock him. Furthermore, for how problematic he was no one expected him to have an actual happy ending.
It’s crazy to say this, but he and Liz seem to be one of the less toxic couples on the show. That just lets you know what The Last Resort is bringing to the table. We also want to point out that if Big Ed can find his soulmate, so can anyone.
