As Nintendo usually does, they ended their E3 Direct on a surprise reveal. After the many rumors, the platform officially announced that they are currently working on a direct sequel to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You can see that announcement teaser here:

Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - First Look Trailer - Nintendo E3 2019

This being just a brief teaser announcement, we didn’t get any new info on what we can expect from a Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. Breath of the Wild was critically acclaimed and beloved by almost anyone who has played it. It even won Game of the Year at the annual Game Awards back in 2017. Due to this, a sequel seems like a no-brainer. Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll be waiting a while before we see more about this game but that just made Nintendo’s E3 2020 showing all the more exciting.

Did you like Nintendo’s E3 Direct? What was your favorite announcement? I know mine was definitely that Banjo-Kazooie reveal. Let us know in the comments below and be sure to stay tuned to The Nerd Stash for all of the latest news and reveals from E3 2019.
