Red Dead Online has been busy with its latest online update. From XP Boosts to Bonuses, a New Free Aim Mode and a five gold bar discount. Let’s begin.
They’ll receive a 25% Character XP and Role XP Boost if they take on any Role Specific Free Roam Events in RD2 Online. However, the Free Roam events are only available to those who’ve reached the necessary rank in a particular role.
The events include Day Of Reckoning, wherein which bounty hunters compete to capture wanted targets and bring them in for points. The more prolific or difficult targets are worth more. (Requires Bounty Hunter Rank 4, 2-8 players).
There’s Manhunt. Within a designated area, bounty hunters will need to work together to bring down targets. However, these targets are defended and armed with henchmen. (Requires Bounty Hunter Rank 4, 2-12 players).
Elsewhere, there is a Trade Route. It offers an opportunity for players to demonstrate their defensive skills. The mission is to defend a goods train from bandits. (Trader Rank 4 needed, 2-12 players).
The Condor Egg mission requires players to retrieve a Condor egg before others can. (Collector Rank 4, 2-12 players).
Lastly in this bundle of bonuses, there’s Salvage. Valuable items have been left behind from a wreck. The mission is to find as many as possible but to remain wary of bandits in the area. (Collector Rank 4, 2-12 players).
Red Dead 2 Online will also be offering 2,000 Role XP Bonuses for each of the Specialist Roles. There are 2,000 XP boosts for Bounty Hunter, Trader, Collector, and Moonshiner missions.
Furthermore, each 2,000 Role XP bonus will be awarded in two 1,000 XP installments through the pause menu’s Offers & Rewards section.
The bonuses continue, as Online brings players the Featured Free Aim Mode. Last Stand is every man for himself, now available until January 20 via the Featured Series.
Last but not least, are the Red Dead Online Benefits. There’s 30% off any Rifle via local gunsmiths or the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue for all players. PS players can snatch up a free colorway of the Leavitt Jacket.
Also, the Butcher Table, Bounty Hunter License and Collector’s Bag have been discounted by 5 Gold Bars. The Collector’s Bag is still available free to anyone who connects their Social Club account and Twitch Prime together. This further includes the Polished Copper Moonshine Still upgrade, as well as a 10% off on Rifles.
