The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s latest gaming device in its line. Besides being the lightest of the “big 3” consoles, it is now dominating the market with release after release. Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild currently holds everyone’s attention at the moment. But that does not mean it’s the only thing you should play. If you are all about the nostalgia factor, take a look at the Nintendo Switch Sega Ages Collection. First started on the Sega Saturn, there is an ever-growing library in the form of the Sega Ages collection. Old-school gamers will be happy to hear that two familiar names are making a comeback.

If you are a fan of the blue speedster hedgehog, then you are in luck. Nintendo is adding Sonic The Hedgehog 2 to its growing library. Sega Ages will not only be adding Sonic, but Miles “Tails” Prower will also be part of the cast on Nintendo Switch. Those familiar with the series will remember this is the first appearance of Sonic’s best friend. Aside from the specific controls on the Nintendo Switch, the game should play exactly as my generation remembers it. Just doing this, the Sega Ages Collection has probably made someone’s year.

The Sega Ages Collection continues to add classics many may not know. Not only will Generation Y get to play as the speedster rodent, but they will also be treated to a re-release of the classic arcade game Puyo Puyo 2. Thanks to rules not seen in the first installment, the game gained far more popularity than the first in the series. As with its original release, gamers will be able to take on other players. Sure, Tetris is cool, but have you tried preventing others from ruining your game?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Puyo Puyo 2 are now available for the Nintendo Switch at $7.99 each.
