No movie or TV show is safe from a hefty delay in these uncertain times. Most recently, Daniel Craig’s final James Bond movie, No Time to Die, has been shifted once again.
No Time To Die has already been postponed back two times, and it has been delayed for the third time. Of course, this comes after the COVID-19 pandemic has caused theatres to close. In fact, No Time to Die was among the first movies to see a delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic. It will now premiere just under two years after its original planned release date of November 2019 — which was initially delayed due to director Danny Boyle departing the project. After that, it was moved from its April 2020 release to November 2020 due to coronavirus. Its premiere date is now set for October 8, which was confirmed by the official James Bond website.

As a result of the delays, HBO Max will take many big-screen pictures straight to streaming. Indeed, there are rumors Disney Plus could take many upcoming movies, including Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, to streaming alongside theatre release. However, there is no confirmation that the upcoming James Bond flick will move directly to a streaming service.
Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time to Die marks Daniel Craig’s final appearance as 007 and the 25th movie in the franchise. It stars Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Lea Seydoux (Spectre).
The virus has caused chaos in Hollywood, throwing movie release dates all over the place due to a lack of open theatres and movie sets closing down. In addition to No Time to Die, other handed similar delays include:

- Uncharted – February 11, 2022
- Morbius – January 11, 2022
