Mass Effect Legendary Edition offers a wide array of ways for fans to get the best out of their experience with the trilogy. From serious gameplay improvements, solid graphics changes, and a whole host of quality-of-life additions, there’s no better way to play one of the best RPG series out there. If you have a particularly high-end system, you may want to enable ultrawide so you can make full use of your widescreen monitor. No need to worry if you’re having troubles though as, in this guide, we’ll explain how you can enable ultrawide support in Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
How to Enable Ultrawide Support in Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Enabling ultrawide is actually a lot easier than you might think. First of all, you’ll want to navigate to the Graphics options within the settings menu and look for the Resolution setting. From there, select the resolution you’d like for your game, while ensuring it’s in 21:9, and that’s it. After setting this, your game will be in 21:9 so you can experience all the beauty of the game in full ultrawide glory.
You may be here though because you’re noticing some parts of Mass Effect Legendary Edition don’t support ultrawide setups, and might be looking for a fix. While we wish we had a better answer for you, unfortunately, the game doesn’t support ultrawide while in cutscenes, meaning you’ll see them in standard 16:9. It’s unclear as to when or if BioWare will correct this fault, but you can be sure mods will come soon that will eradicate this issue completely. We can’t vouch for any at the moment, but keep an eye on the internet over the next week for the first mods to pop up.
