NACON will unveil the latest look at highly-anticipated upcoming games like Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum during a special streaming presentation entitled NACON Connect on Tuesday, July 6th. The presentation will arrive live from France at 7 pm CEST — which means Americans will need to tune in at 10 am PST/1 pm EST.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a single-player, narrative-driven RPG centered in part on a mentally unstable vampire with an unflinching commitment to protect her daughter at any cost. With the increasing likelihood that development on Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is in crisis, fans of the World of Darkness franchise’s bloodsucking adventures are keeping a keener eye on Swansong. It remains on track to arrive on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, on the other hand, is in development under Daedelic Entertainment with a targeted 2022 launch for all of the systems listed above for Swansong. (Which is basically the present-day exhaustive laundry list of cross-generational hardware ports needed right now for a third-party game to see significant success.) The game stars the titular Gollum, a crestfallen and disfigured creature who was once a spry and carefree hobbit not unlike Frodo and his friends. Something tells me if there’s a fishing minigame mandate for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, it’s going to be more disgusting than most.
If Gollum proves itself to be a fun time, it will surely make a great companion piece to Amazon’s Lord of the Rings television series, which will also premiere sometime in ’22.
…And More
Other games to look forward to updates for at NACON Connect include Bloodbowl 3, Steelrising, and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Additionally, NACON intends to announce brand new titles at the event.
They say there’s a trailer for everything these days, so enjoy the teaser trailer to Tuesday’s NACON Connect above for a ten-second flash at what you can expect to see when the event goes live. You’ll be able to tune in on your choice of either YouTube or Twitch. And if you’d like, go ahead and let us know in the comments which games you want to see more from tomorrow!
