Twelve Minutes is a game where your choices matter for not just story progression, but your success rate as well. As you’re stuck in a time loop, you must make your choices carefully. Otherwise, you’ll be sent right back to the start. Once you’ve made it all the way to the end of the game though (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD), you’ll find that your presented with two dialogue options, and either of which will send you right back to the beginning. With that, you may be confused as to if this is the end or not. But it’s not the ending, and in fact, there are two separate endings you can get. In this guide, we’ll explain how to unlock every ending possible in Twelve Minutes.

How to Unlock Every Ending in Twelve Minutes

The first ending we’ll focus on is known as the “Continue” ending and isn’t the true ending of the game. In this ending, you’ll want to get to the point where the Man and the Father are talking in the room and you’re presented with two different choices. From here, go behind the man and click on the book. You’ll recite a line from the book speaking on forgetting and time, to which the Father will continue on a speech regarding forgetting about the past. You’ll be presented with the option to change your mind, but you won’t want to do this. Instead, let him speak, and he’ll eventually try a hypnosis trick on you, letting you forget about everything that has led up to you having feelings for your sister (gross, by the way). As you can expect, this brings you right back to where you started.

The second of the two endings is the “Mindfulness” ending, also known as the true ending of Twelve Minutes. This requires you to do the same process described above. As the Father is having his speech though, click on the clock behind him. Keep an eye on it until his speech is complete and the time hits 12 o’clock. At this point, the Father will speak with you, talking about the stories you’ve created, and how you must let her go. As this ending reveals, none of these stories actually happened but were a product of your imagination hoping to have been with your sister (again, gross).

All in all, I hope this guide helped you to unlock every ending in Twelve Minutes. If it did, be sure to let us know in the comments below. As well, share it around so it can help others!

Twelve Minutes is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
