Tales of Arise How to Get Inferno Fangs
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Inferno Fangs is a unique and rare material used to craft a weapon for Law in Tales of Arise. Throughout the game’s narrative, players will visit many regions and encounter different Zeugles that drop an assortment of complex crafting resources, so it’s reasonable that finding Inferno Fangs may stump some players. The fangs are an item drop from a Gigant Zeugle, a challenging, high-level enemy in Tales of Arise that’s much stronger than its standard counterpart. However, before facing this particular enemy, players must fulfill a series of objectives within two quests.

(Updated on July 27, 2024 – Fact-checked and clarified how to obtain the material).

How to Get Inferno Fangs in Tales of Arise

Tales of Arise Inferno Fangs

To get the Inferno Fangs in Tales of Arise, go to Cysloden, the capital city of Cyslodia. Enter Bregon’s Hideout and accept the “Culling the Snowplain Herds” Sub-Quest from Bregon. After its completion, he will provide the player with the following quest, “Survey Says…” Finishing the quest’s objectives will lead the player to Polycephus, a boss that drops Inferno Fangs. Sadly, this boss doesn’t have weaknesses. This means that farming this foe will be a bit more challenging compared to others. However, as long as you focus on Polychephus’ weak points, it shouldn’t take long.

At the beginning of the Tales of Arise quest, “Survey Says,” players will be instructed to listen to three citizens of Cysloden concerning their requests. Afterward, return to Bregon to report the gathered findings. He will give the player the keys to an underground prison cell within the Riville Prison Tower. Fast travel to the tower and enter the underground level. After speaking with an NPC, continue lower to where Polycephus is located. Slay the boss and receive Inferno Fangs as a reward drop. If you have leftovers of this material, we recommend selling it. Once you craft Law’s weapon, there’s no need to have so many Inferno Fangs, so make sure to exchange them for some money.
