As the chaos of Rockstar’s newly remastered GTA Trilogy continues, many players are now demanding a refund. People have taken to Rockstar’s Twitter support page, @RockstarSupport, to ask the company for their money back after the game only debuted on November 11. Customer complaints are not unfounded as the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been virtually unplayable for many.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy

Rockstar had to temporarily pull the GTA Trilogy from the PSN Store a few days ago because players who had preordered the game were able to access it over 24 hours before it was released. Now, the company has pulled the game from sale on PC, after its release, because they need to “remove files unintentionally included.” It’s been a rocky start for the remastered trilogy to the least.

The GTA Trilogy is not only having issues on PC. Irate gamers are complaining about various graphical issues, bugs and progression crashes on all consoles. One player contacted @RockstarSupport on Twitter saying, “The game freezes in San Andreas on Xbox Series X every time I restart a mission checkpoint. It loads the game but I canโ€™t move my character.” @RockstarSupport has also been busy responding to a long list of GTA Trilogy refund requests, to which they have responded by agreeing to send a refund to any customer who wants one.

We would like to look into this issue. Please create a ticket here: https://t.co/iLlf5byDom *BK

For anyone looking for a refund, @RockstarSupport seems to be directing everyone to their customer support website where players can create a ticket for their issue. Even though oddly, there is no way to definitively select the Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy for a refund, customers need to instead choose from one of the individual games in the trilogy. Once that is done, players need only to provide their order email address, purchase date of the game, and their Rockstar order number. No timeline for when people can expect their refund has been given, but the website’s estimated response time for a ticket is less than 24 hours. It can be certain Rockstar has a hefty amount of those to get through.
