Rainbow Six Extraction is due to release in just a couple of days, and Ubisoft has finally confirmed what time the highly anticipated game will officially launch all around the world on consoles and PC. The company has also announced pre-load times for fans hoping to have Rainbow Six Extraction ready to play the minute it’s available.
Ubisoft’s next game, Rainbow Six Extraction, was first revealed in 2019, and although it has gone through several design changes since then, fan hype for its release has only increased. The next installment to the Rainbow Six franchise will be available on day one to Xbox Game Pass members and is due to be one of the series’ biggest launches.
According to Ubisoft, “Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on January 20 at midnight local time on PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. On Amazon Luna, it will be available on January 19 at 9 PM PT/January 20 at 12 AM ET.”
Additionally, “If you’ve purchased the game on PC through the Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to pre-load the game starting January 17 at 5 PM CET/11 AM ET/8 AM PT or January 18 at 3 AM AEDT. Pre-loads on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S are available now!” Gamers playing Rainbow Six Extraction on Google Stadia and Amazon Luna won’t need to pre-load the game, hence the beauty of game streaming. Also, Game Pass subscribers will be happy to know that a pre-load option will be available to them, despite there being previous pre-load issues with games such as Halo Infinite. All should be well with Rainbow Six Extraction on Xbox Game Pass.
As if release and pre-load times weren’t exciting enough, the developers also announced that their subscription service Ubisoft+ would be coming to Xbox consoles. Some believe this is a test run for the service partnering with Game Pass in the future, similar to EA Play.
Enjoy Rainbow Six Extraction in just a couple of days on January 20.
