There are many Side Quests that you need to complete to unlock new items or features, or if you want to, 100%’d Pokemon Legends: Arceus. While most Side Quests are pretty straightforward (catch this Pokemon, go there, etc.), some of them might need a bit of sleuthing to complete. One of those harder ones is the “Setting Up the Coastlands Camp” Request, and here’s where you can find the NPC named Yorrich to finish that particular Pokemon Legends: Arceus Side Quest.
“Setting Up the Coastlands Camp” Request Side Quest

- Quest Giver: Gully, in Cobalt Coastlands.
- Rewards: Unlocks new Camp.
After you beat Noble Lilligant and get to 3rd Star Survey Team rank in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you will unlock the Cobalt Coastlands. Once you reach Bather’s Lagoon (to the southeast of Aipom Hill) of that region, the NPC Gully will give you the “Setting Up the Coastlands Camp” Request. To complete it, you have to help her find a missing person named Yorrich. You then will be taken to the Sand’s Reach area, an aptly named location since, if you look at the map, it’s shaped like a human hand.
Yorrich is located somewhere in Sand’s Reach, but as you can expect, finding a single person in Pokemon Legends: Arceus’s huge, open area is no easy task. Well, thankfully, you don’t have to look for him alone; we’re here to help. Yorrich is actually waiting for you in the “pinky finger” area of Sand’s Reach. But your job doesn’t stop after you find him. You also need to fight a Level 34 Chatot that’s scaring the old man. Beat the Chatot, save Yorrich, and you should be teleported back to Gully again with the Cobalt Coastlands’ second Base Camp now unlocked.
