Gamers interested in purchasing a Xbox One will have the opportunity, from now until November 20, to snag a free physical or downloadable game when they purchase the system at participating retailers. Eligible games include any game already released and available on the Xbox One with a retail value of up to $59.99. The deal is valid for the newer games as well, like Halo 5: Guardians and Fallout 4. The offer is limited to one console and one free game per person with up to three games total. In other words, you get the free game as long as you don’t buy any more than two other games along with the system.
Additionally, certain retailers offer different options toward the purchase of the eligible Xbox One systems. Microsoft has much the same deal, but offering Assassin’s Creed Unity specifically, with up to $100 off with Kinect included. Gamestop and Target are offering trade credit towards the One when customers bring in certain older systems.
It seems like video game deals are everywhere this season, with so many bundles and free games and Special Editions and discounts going on. What makes this particular one enticing is that gamers can claim free copies of the very newest and biggest Xbox One games without dishing extra cash for an actual console bundle. Black Friday is November 27, a week after this deal expires. Shoppers might want to make sure a better bargain isn’t around the corner before jumping on this one.
