The Assembly Station is a central workstation for bigย projects duringย Sandrock‘s main story, and several of its complex parts require Rubber Tubes. You’ll also need these hose-like components to craft Planting Kits. These consumable items enable you to grow crops and trees in the sandy yard outside your workshop. That said, whether you’re looking to assemble some advanced workstations or indulge in some farming, understanding how Rubber Tubes are obtained is essential inย My Time at Sandrock.

Rubber Tubes in My Time at Sandrock are acquired by crafting or recycling:

  • Use three Rubber in a Grinder
  • Recycling Rubber Scrap in a Recycler (High Chance)

If you often visit Eufaula Salvage or scour the desert wastelands for scrap piles, you’ll likely amass dozens of Rubber Scraps after an in-game week or so. In particular, the nodes you should keep an eye out for are the ones that look like buried car tires. The best thing about scrap-hunting is that you can get both Rubber Scrap and Rubber from scavenging, making it a “win-win” source of Rubber Tubes.

Take your Rubber Scrap and place it in your Recycler, and there’s a pretty solid chance you’ll get Rubber Tubes or raw Rubber to craft the tubes. Speaking of which, the crafting method requires you to have a Grinder, which you’ll get relatively early by delivering Data Discs to Qi at the Research Center.ย ย

Besides scavenging for scrap piles in Eufaula Salvage or the desert, you can also get Rubber for crafting tubes via mob drops. After you repair the Shonash Canyon Bridge during the main story, you’ll have access to a new part of the world, where you can face off against Boxing Jacks. These, along with Geeglers within the Gecko Station Ruins, have a decent chance of dropping Rubber.
