Aliens: Fireteam Elite has today launched its June 21 update across all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Just to temper any sort of expectations you may have had walking into this, today’s update doesn’t do much that’s worth noting. Instead, the team at this point is just mopping up some of the smaller issues that seem to be plaguing the game. We’ll go more in-depth regarding some of these fixes later in the article, though we figured it’s important to note that either way. Without further ado, here’s everything new with Aliens: Fireteam Elite in its June 21 update.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite June 21 Update Patch Notes
Animation
- Fixed an issue with the reload animation on the Heirloom Standoff weapon.
Class Kits
- LANCER: The Lancer Horde Slayer Kit Skin should now properly unlock for players who complete Horde Mode on Extreme or higher difficulties, and unlock automatically for players who have previously completed Horde Mode on Extreme or higher difficulties.
Intel
- Entries for each topic in the Intel menu should now be ordered according to the relative locations they are found in each Campaign.
General
- Fixed a memory related issue that sometimes resulted in a crash.
As you can see, a total of four fixes headline today’s update, with some more important than others. Starting things off is a reload animation fix with the Heirloom Standoff weapon, which should help immersion if nothing else. Next up is the Lancer Horde Slayer Kit Skin being properly unlocked for players which could be incredibly annoying to have fail, especially if you were trying extra hard to complete the Extreme Horde mode difficulty. Following that is a reordering of Intel which shouldn’t do all that much for you. And finally, a crash fix which is a nice fixup for obvious reasons.
