One of the primary resources you’ll need in your rise as a vampire lord is the bones of the enemies you have bested in combat. These skeletal remains can be used to fashion armor, create rats, and even healing items. Furthermore, you can also grind them to create Grave Dust in V Rising, which has many more uses. Grave Dust is a magical component used to create objects and consumables. So, if you’re struggling to get this reagent, we have a few tips on how to obtain it.

Before you attempt to get Grave Dust in V Rising, you must get bones. The easiest way to obtain them is by defeating enemies, especially in the Forgotten Cemetery, Infested Graveyard, and Desecrated Graveyard, all in the game’s starting area. However, with so many things to do, you might want a faster and more efficient way to get bones instead of teleporting to graveyards whenever you run out of stock. Skeletons are a great way to find bones; fortunately, you can build a Tomb in your castle for an almost infinite pile. The Tomb will rise skeletons; to build it, you need the following:

  • x80 Stone
  • x20 Bone

Next, collect and place twelve Mourning Lilies in the Tomb to start spawning skeletons. If you don’t have the Tomb blueprint yet, you must unlock it by defeating Goreswine the Ravager.

Having bones in your inventory is only part of the process; for the next part, you must create a Grinder. The Grinder is in charge of processing materials; in this case, it grinds most V Rising bones to turn them into Grave Dust. For the Grinder, you will need these materials:

  • x4 Whetstones
  • x4 Copper Ingots
  • x8 Wooden Planks

With this, you will have an inexhaustible source of skeletons and Grave Dust, as long as you have the Mouning Lilies needed to keep the Tomb active. You can also farm Mourning Lilies from the comfort of your castle by planting their seeds in a proper Growing Plot.

Initially, this material might seem insignificant, but one of the first roadblocks you’ll face in V Rising is one requiring you to increase your gear score. To do that, you need Grave Dust, which can help you craft an excellent ring to boost your level fast and let you face powerful V Blood carriers.
