One crafting material that Vampires in V Rising will consistently need during their adventure is Grave Dust, a magic component used for making magical objects and consumable items. Accordingly, players must know how to farm this item if they wish to have enough for their future crafting endeavors. The first and most straightforward way to get Grave Dust in V Rising is by mob farming enemies in the Forgotten Cemetery, Infested Graveyard, and Desecrated Graveyard. In other words, anywhere undead roam, Vardoran Vampires are likely to find Grave Dust as mobs drops. Additionally, there are two more ways to get Grave Dust in V Rising.
Farming Grave Dust in V Rising
Another way to get Grave Dust in V Rising is by killing Skeletons and other undead mobs for Bones. A hundred of these Bones then be placed into a Grinder to produce one stack of Grave Dust. To construct a Grinder, players will need Whetstones ×4, Copper Ingots ×4, and Wooden Planks ×8.

The third and most efficient way of farming Grave Dust in V Rising is through necromancy, raising the dead in one’s own Castle. This process is done with a Structure known as the Tomb, a device that can produce various types of undead creatures. To unlock the blueprint for the Tomb, Vardoran Vampires will first need to track down and slay Goreswine the Ravager, a Level 27 V Blood Carrier who roams the southern graveyards of Farbane Woods. To defeat Goreswine, players are recommended to have melee and ranged attacks prepared for the fight. This boss will often spawn lingering pools of toxic waste. Whenever he stands in these pools during battle, players will need to use their ranged abilities to attack the opponent. Once defeated, his V Blood will unlock the Tomb.
To assemble a Tomb, players will need Stone ×80 and Bone ×20. Next, collect and place twelve Mourning Lilies into the Tomb to spawn a Ghoul, an undead mob that has a chance to drop Grave Dust directly. Later on, Vampires will unlock more spawnable enemies such as Skeleton Priests and Banshee, which have an even higher chance of dropping Grave Dust. Still, the Ghoul is an excellent source of Grave Dust in V Rising since they only require Mourning Lily ×12, flowers that can be easily grown within one’s Castle gardens.
V Rising is available for PC via Steam.
