Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have had their second child, as confirmed to People by representatives of the two stars. Their second is confirmed to be a girl. “Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl,” representatives said.
In May 2019, long before the life of having a child, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married in Las Vegas. They had another, more formal ceremony in France. Their first daughter, Willa, was born in July 2020.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas try to keep their private life to themselves. The Game of Thrones actress revealed the second pregnancy after she was well into it as she unveiled her baby bump for ELLE UK‘s June issue. While that was when she confirmed it, it was seen at the Met Gala red carpet the month before. For them, making an appearance on a red carpet must have a purpose.
“You never want to market yourself as a celebrity couple,” Turner said. “It’s not that cool. And my daughter never asked for any of this. I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, and to be photographed every day and have the comments. It’s not something I want her to deal with unless she says, ‘This is what I want to do.’ We’re quite strict about that.”
While being parents, both Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are quite busy. Turner recently starred in the HBO series The Staircase, where she joined Colin Firth and Toni Collette. Later in the year, she will be in the comedy Do Revenge, which will be led by Stranger Things star Maya Hawke. The X-Men and Game of Thrones actress will be in Come As You Are, a thriller where she will star opposite Taylor John Smith (Sharp Objects). Meanwhile, her husband is pushing his acting career forward as he stars in Devotion, a Korean War drama with Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick), Serinda Swan (Coroner), Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country), and Thomas Sadoski (Life in Pieces).
While there are Game of Thrones spinoffs in the works, like one on Jon Snow, and the inevitable revival of X-Men by Marvel Studios, Turner is unconfirmed to return to either franchise.
