What We Know About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage – originally known only by the codename Rift – the next chap[ter in the long-running Ubisoft franchise, initially as a follow-up to the previous game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. However, it has reportedly since been reworked as a standalone title and will follow the Valhalla supporting character Basim Ibn Ishaq as he explores a world in his own feature.

The landmark shown in the image by Ubisoft is the caliphal palace during the Abbasid Caliphate of the late 9th century, the time period in which the game is set.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Leaked Cover Artwork

The game was previously leaked a while back, affirming Basim as the new lead and alluding that the game would be a return to the franchise’s roots with a major focus on stealth. It will supposedly feature RPG elements like dialogue choices, levels, and a choice of gender will not be present, and the “Eagle Vision” power last seen in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will also reportedly return, as well as the “drone bird” players could use to observe and mark enemies.

More information is expected to be confirmed during the Ubisoft Forward presentation on September 10, which once again will begin 12noon Pacific / 3 pm Eastern / 8 pm  UK. It will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, as well as the company’s official website.
