Removing Wildebeest Bones during The Circle of Life in Disney Dreamlight Valley

While progressing through Scar’s storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will eventually receive “The Circle of Life” Friendship Quest from the villainous lion. He has an idea about how to remove the wildebeest bones blocking the bridge to the second half of the Sunlit Plateau. However, since he is incapable of doing anything on his own, he requests that the player protagonist speaks with Mother Gothel about solving the problem. Of course, Mother Gothel is none too thrilled by the thought of helping Scar, but she agrees to tell Dreamers how to complete the quest’s first task involving the search for Old Bones.

Lighting the Geyser and Crafting the Roaring Shovel Head during The Circle of Life in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The first step of “The Circle of Life” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is searching for Old Bones within the Vitalys Mines of the Sunlit Plateau. If players follow Mother Gothel’s instructions, they will discover these bones in a small, dead-ended mineshaft with a green chest.

After finding the Old Bones in the Plateau Mines during “The Circle of Life,” Disney Dreamlight Valley fans must craft 10 Purified Night Shards in preparation for an upgrade to their Royal Shovel. Those who diligently dig up every sparkling dirt mound node they see in the Valley will undoubtedly have many Night Shards in their inventory or Storage. Dream Shards, conversely, are quite tricky to obtain due to their rarity and low-RNG drop rate. Nevertheless, acquiring 10 Dream Shards for this quest is a feat that most Dreamers can accomplish within less than a week of clearing Night Thorns and foraging.

The next step in “The Circle of Life” in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires players to place the Old Bones into a Volcanic Geyser to turn them into Ashes. According to YouTuber GosuNoob, this Geyser can be found within the hollow of the Giant Skull of the Sunlit Plateau. Next, fans must plant the Ashes somewhere within the region and water the farming plot. After harvesting the Flower of Bones, Dreamers will be able to make the Roaring Shovel Head using the special flower and Purified Night Shards. Using this new Royal Shovel Upgrade, head to the wildebeest bones in the Plateau and dig them up to complete the quest.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
