Encountering a Wild Bronzor in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Bronzor is a Steel- and Psychic-type pocket monster in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that evolves into Bronzong after reaching Level 33. Bronzong is not the best in terms of damage output for Battles or Raids, but its thick, metallic plating offers exceptionally high Def and SpDef. However, the main reason most Trainers will likely seek Bronzor is not to evolve it into Bronzong or simply add it to their Paldean Pokédex. Players endeavoring to evolve Charcadet into Armarouge will need an Evolution Item known as Auspicious Armor, and this item can only be traded using fragments acquired from dropped by Bronzor.

Finding Bronzor in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Every Bronzor Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Finding Bronzor is a relatively easy task in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet since the Steel- and Psychic-type disc-shaped creature is commonly around ruins. As one will have noticed through exploration, ruins are unmarked landmarks that players will regularly encounter during their travels. Moreover, Bronzor does not have the “Rarely seen” trait, meaning its spawn rate is moderately high.

One of the earliest locations that Trainers can search to find Bronzor in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the ruins north of the main road leading to the small town of Cortondo, west of Mesagoza. This is also the area where players will encounter a Tera Fletchling that will be quite aggressive to any trespassers on their territory. Another early spot would include the ruins south of the Asado Desert, where players will meet the NPC Trainer Adam the Courier. For further clarification, these ruins are easier to find on the map thanks to the nearby West Province (Area One) Watchtower.

YouTuber Kibbles claims that one of the easiest locations to reach is on the eastern side of Paldea, north of the road from the South Province (Area Three) Pokécenter. Kibbles states that the ruin here is constantly spawning multiple Bronzors in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. As a result, it is an excellent spot to farm Bronzor Fragment for obtaining the Auspicious Armor needed to evolve Charcadet into Armarouge. Battling Wild Bronzors one by one can be quite tedious and time-consuming; therefore, players are encouraged to use the Let’s Go auto-battle feature to speed up the farming process.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
