Need for Speed: Unbound definitely isn’t one of the easier games when there are things that cause a need for repairs, like traffic, high-speed chases, and cops that you have to worry about. It’s pretty common for you to do some serious damage to your cars, actually. Considering that you can take some serious damage, you’ll have to try to drive somewhat sensibly, but that may not always be possible. If you take too much damage or get in too big of a wreck, your car will be beyond repair, and you’ll be kicked from your session. You’ll end up losing out on loads of cash and progress this way. However, there is a solution, and that is repairing your car. Keep reading to learn how to repair your car in Need for Speed: Unbound.

There are a few different ways to repair your car so you can get back into the race as soon as possible. Each of these ways will also fix the cosmetic damage that’s been done to your car as well, so you’ll still be able to ride around in style.

  • Drive Through a Gas Station
    • This is by far one of the easiest ways to repair your car in Need for Speed: Unbound.
    • Familiarizing yourself with the location of different gas stations can be extremely beneficial, as simply driving past will replenish your car’s hull integrity entirely.
    • However, you’ll need to space out your gas station visits, as during a pursuit, you can only visit a gas station once every 4 minutes.
  • Swap Out Your Car In Between Events
    • When you begin to unlock higher-tiered events, you’ll be able to collect a few cars for your garage.
    • Sometimes, the best plan of action to beat the race you’re trying to do is to swap out to a different car that’s in your garage that is at full health.
    • If you swap back after the race is complete, you won’t have to deal with the heat you’ve accumulated during the race, either.
  • Buy a Repair Kit
    • Repair Kits are a bit pricey, and they only recover a small portion of your health, not to mention they are time-limited items.
    • It’d be better to use Repair Kits in between being able to drive through Gas Stations.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
