With its debut, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced a new mechanic called TM machines which you can copy moves for your favorite Pokemons. TMS are scattered around the Paldea region, and you must find them first to get a copy of them from TM machines. One of these TM moves is Drain Punch, a mighty and helpful move in both games. This guide will tell you how to get  Drain Punch TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

What is Drain Punch TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Drain Punch is a decisive move in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! It’s a Fighting Type Physical Move with a power of 75, an accuracy of 100, and a PP of 10 – which can be increased up to 16. Not only does it hit its target with this powerful attack, but it also restores half the damage inflicted as HP for the user.

While it has no effect against Ghost Types, it will score Super Effective hits on Normal Type Pokemon and deals 2x average damage; Ice, Rock, Dark, and Steel type pokemon don’t stand much chance either! Koraidon and Scream Tail are two pokemon who learn Drain Punch through TM (Iron Hands is another!).

How to Get  Drain Punch TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

You can get  Drain Punch TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at Area Five in the South Province at the watch tower’s second level and another location on the Island in the middle of the river between Area Two of the East Province and Zapapico. Here are the detailed steps you need to follow.

First Location.

Drain Punch TM in Pokemon

  1. Go to the watch tower  at Area Five in the South Province
  2. Climb the ladder and reach the first level of the watch tower. You will find the  Drain Punch TM on the other side of the platform.

Second Location.

Drain Punch TM in Pokemon

  1. Go to the Island shown above on the map.
  2. Go to the left side of the Island, and you can find the Drain Puch TM near the beachside.
