  • Find in the wild Paldea.
  • Craft on TM Machine.

Of course, crafting is a more efficient way to get a new TM, but it’s not that simple. To start crafting, you need to get the recipe for this TM, which means you must find at least one in the open world. Fortunately, there are three such points on the map, so you need to walk to the one closest to you:

  • Head to East Province (Area One) and walk near The Great Crater of Paldea. Climb the small plateau, as shown in the image above, and collect your first TM 127 Play Rough.
  • The second point with TM 127 Play Rough is near Alfornada city. Go city east, go through the ruins, and climb up. Keep heading east and cross small mountains. You can pick up the second Play Rough TM near the eastern wall of the cliff.
  • Visit Los Platos and go to the southeastern part of the settlement. Near the city, climb a small hill and pick up TM 127 Play Rough in the grass near the PokéStop.

How to Craft TM 127 Play Rough in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Once you get at least one Play Rough TM, you will automatically unlock the recipe and be able to craft copies. Go to the nearest Pokemon Center and use the TM Machine. To Craft TM 127 Play Rough, select the desired recipe from the list and prepare the following materials:

  • 10000LP
  • Tandemus Fur x3
  • Fidough Fur x5
  • Tinkatink Hair x3
