Do you want to know how to get all Goomy evolutions in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have a ton of powerful and weirdly-looking pocket creatures. If you start exploring Paldea, you will find all kinds of different types of Pokemon.

Goomy is a tiny dragon-type slug-resembling Pokemon with two evolutions and is pretty potent. It is no surprise the trainers want him in their Pokedex. While it can be caught early in the game, getting it to evolve might be a bit tricky.

How to Evolve Goomy into Sliggoo?

The first Goomy evolution is a Pokemon named Sliggoo. Goomy likes wetlands and areas that have large numbers of ponds. Your best chance to find a Goomy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is to look in the South Province (Area Five) section of the map. You will find one north of the Pokemon Center.

Once you have a Goomy in your collection, all you need to do is level it up to level 40 to turn it into Sliggoo.

How to Evolve Sliggoo into Goodra in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Once you have leveled up your Goomy into Sliggoo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to keep leveling up your Pokemon. Sliggoo will evolve into Goodra when it reaches level 50.

However, things aren’t as simple as you might think. Use Sliggoo as much as you can in your battles, and feed it Exp candy, but for Sliggoo to turn into Goodra, a few environmental forces have to dabble in.

To be precise, it must rain if you want a Goodra from your Sliggoo. Unfortunately, the weather in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is unpredictable and can’t be influenced by a player. Moreover, Sliggo won’t evolve into Goodra if someone uses the Rain Dance move.

Nevertheless, you won’t need to wait too long to start raining in-game since the weather changes quite often. However, keep some Exp. Candies on you so you are well-prepared when it starts raining so you can evolve Sliggo into Goodra.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
