Fire Emblem Engage: How to Unlock the Edelgard Ring in the Lookout Ridge Event
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

Fire Emblem Engage players who have purchased the Expansion Pass DLC are able to summon Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude from the 2019 Fire Emblem Three Houses. However, some of you might wonder how to trigger the Edelgard Ring event at the Lookout Ridge since the game doesn’t clearly address how to do so. This Fire Emblem Engage guide will help properly explain how to unlock the Edelgard Ring in the Lookout Ridge Event.

Unlock the Edelgard Ring in the Lookout Ridge Event – Fire Emblem Engage

Fire Emblem Engage: How to Unlock the Edelgard Ring in the Lookout Ridge Event

For the Expansion Pass DLC owners, an in-game pop-up window will say, “Eldelgard, Dimitri, and Claude will join your group when you trigger the event at the Lookout Ridge in Somniel.” Apparently, you have to play through the game’s story and complete one specific Chapter first before the event is unlocked:

  • Complete Chapter 6 – “The Stolen Ring”
  • Then start Chapter 7 – “Dark Emblem.”

Once you reach Chapter 7, head back to Somniel, then go to Lookout Ridge, and a cutscene will trigger. There, you will be given an Edelgard Bracelet — yes, instead of an Emblem Ring, you will obtain a Bracelet instead. Presumably, it’s because you will be able to utilize three different characters when using it.

You read that right. The most interesting thing about unlocking and using Edelgard Ring or Bracelet in Fire Emblem Engage‘s Lookout Ridge event is that, unlike other Emblems who are single characters, Edelgard will switch out with Dimitri or Claude at random instead! Obviously, this refers to their rivalries in their respective title. However, when using the Houses Unite Engage Attack, all three House Leaders will fight together as one. After the Three Leaders, you will also unlock their Divine Paralogue.

That’s how you unlock the Edelgard Ring in the Lookout Ridge event for Fire Emblem Engage. Stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for more guides on Fire Emblem and other fan-favorite Nintendo Switch games.
