The new viral game that has taken the internet by storm, Chronophoto, challenges players to guess the exact year in which a photograph was taken. The game, similar in format to the popular Wordle, requires players to use their knowledge of history and attention to detail to pinpoint the moment of capture accurately.

How to Play Chronophoto Game

The Chronophoto game consists of moving a button along a timeline between 1900 and 2020 to locate the exact year in which the photograph at the top was taken. Once players believe they have found the correct answer, they press the accept button, and the game delivers a score depending on how close they are to hitting the specific date. If players are outside the minimum range, no points will be added.

Each game of Chronophoto consists of five rounds, with five photos from different times. Points are added for each round, and unlike Wordle, there is no limit to repeating the game as many times as players want in a single day. This is because Chronophoto is a random challenge, unlike Wordle, which only offers one word daily.

The idea behind Chronophoto is to take advantage of all the information that photographs give, such as the style of clothing, the cars, the state of the streets, the quality of the image, and even famous people, such as presidents or artists, that appear in the photograph. This helps to reduce the margin of error and makes the game more challenging and engaging for players.

The Chronophoto game is free and does not require a subscription or sign-up. You can visit the Chronophoto website to start the game and begin the challenge.

Overall, Chronophoto is a fun and challenging game that is perfect for history buffs and anyone who loves a good puzzle. With its simple mechanics and endless replayability, it’s no surprise that Chronophoto has quickly become one of the most popular games on the internet.
