The cast to the Paramount+ Frasier sequel series has grown with the addition of Toks Olagundoye (Arcane), Deadline has reported. She joins alongside Jess Salgueiro (The Expanse), newcomer to the acting world Anders Keith, Jack Cutmore-Scott (Deception), Nicholas Lyndhurst (Goodnight Sweetheart), and Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as the titled character.
The Frasier sequel series sees Grammer return to his psychiatrist-turned-radio host in a new city to meet new faces, like Toks Olagundoye. She will play Olivia, the head of the psych department at an Ivy League university. The character is described as showcasing a confident, warm, and professional personality, contradicting how she feels internally. She has a conflict with her colleague, the titled character’s college friend Alan (Lyndhurst). Their shared respect for Grammer’s radio host puts them in positions to try to gain something from their connections to him.
The rest of the cast has some details. Cutmore-Scott plays Frasier’s son, Freddy, Salgueiro plays Freddy’s roommate, Eve, and Keith as Niles and Daphne’s son, David.
