Do you want to know more about the new heat system in Tekken 8? Tekken 8 is the latest in the long line of famous fighting games from Bandai Namco. This time, it features a new heat system and many other game mechanics. The heat System is one of the Battle Concept game mechanics with three other systems, Rage System, Recoverable Guage, and Controller style. This guide will tell you about the new heat system in Tekken 8.

What is The New Heat System in Tekken 8?

Tekken 8: New Heat System Explained

The Heat System is the period that is overwhelmingly beneficial to an attackerโ€”featuring the concept of being aggressive. With the Heat System, the user enters a state of enhancement and awakening for a certain period and can create a starting point for tactics and offensive actions. This introduction was given by the video published through the BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment YouTube channel. Here are the details of the Heat System in Tekken 8.

  • The Heat State: When the player activates the Heat Condition, the character enters the heat state and is covered with a Blue flame. The Heat Timer Starts decreasing and will end after 10 seconds. You can activate the Heat State at any time by hitting R1 Button.
  • The Heat Timer: It stops when the opponent is blocked or hit means you can keep going with the same attack, and it won’t cost you time. So, it gives you an advantage if you are aggressive; on the other hand, it is no use if you are defensive.
  • There are two methods to activate Heat State: As explained above, the first method is starting it by pressing R1, which is the Heat Burst. The following way is hitting the opponent with a “Heat engager,” which automatically activates the heat State. There are about five Heat Engager moves for each character.

  • Heat engager: An attack activates the heat status if it hits the opponent. Some of these moves have been made as characteristics for each character.
  • Heat Burst: It activates the Heat state while making Slamming attacks and gives a slight advantage to hit and guard over the opponent. You can use it as a part of the Arial combo.
  • Heat Smash: This move can only be performed while the Heat State is activated and take eight energy.
  • Heat Dash: This move can cancel the Heat Engager and is mighty.

So, this is how the Heat System in Tekken 8 works. It provides various advantages to attackers, so it’s essential to use this system to succeed in the game. Remember that it is a powerful tool and can decide the match if used correctly. Good luck!
