Hogwarts Legacy proved to be an even greater game than we had anticipated. While there are a few issues here and there, this new title is everything that fans from the series have been waiting for. It offers the best rendition of Hogwarts to date, engaging combat, and some fantastic world-building. Part of the latter relies on all the activities you can do while journeying through Hogwarts. If you’ve made progress on the main story, you’ll notice that there are some potions that need specific ingredients. While most of them are out there in the wild, you’ll need to plant others. One of those is Fluxweed Stem, an essential reagent that’ll take time to get. But don’t worry. Today we’ll tell you how to get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy

Contrary to Lacewing Flies or Horklump Juice, Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy isn’t out there in the wild. You’ll either have to buy or purchase it to get it. This makes the ingredient one of the rarest ones in the game. Here are the places where you can get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Bought from The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade (150 each)
  • You can also buy Fluxweed seeds at The Magic Neep (350 each)

This is the only place right now that sells the ingredient and the seeds that’ll let you grow it. For that, you’ll need to unlock the Room of Requirement first, of course.

How to use Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy

To use this ingredient, you need to focus first on growing it. To do that, you’ll need the following:

  • Unlock the Room of Requirement
  • Buy the Large Pot Spellcraft in Hogsmeade
  • Put a Large Pot inside your Room of Requirement
  • Plant the seeds and come back after 15 minutes to get Fluxweed Stems

Doing these things will give you a steady income of Fluxweed Stem for you to use in your potions. While some may think this ingredient isn’t necessary, it is. You need to brew a potion with it as part of the main story. These are the potions that use Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Focus Potion: 1x Lacewing Flies, 1x Fluxweed Stem, and 1x Dugbog Tongue
  • Felix Felicis: 1x Lacewing Flies and 1x Fluxweed Stem

Both potions are excellent, but you only need the Focus potion for the achievement and to advance the main story. So, now that you know how to get Fluxweed Stem in Hogwarts Legacy, make sure to have one planted in your room at all times.
