Do you want to know how to get Expelliarmus Spell in Hogwarts Legacy? Hogwarts Legacy is here, and it is breaking all records. Undoubtedly, the best game released this year so far, but honestly, what can beat this charming adventure?

You can solve almost every problem in Hogwarts Legacy with spells, and learning new spells is a core part of the story progression. Being a 5th-year student at the magnificent Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you will learn some advanced spells, including Expelliarmus. This guide will show you how to get Expelliarmus Spell in Hogwarts Legacy.

What is Expelliarmus Spell?

Expelliarmus is one of the legendary spells from the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Harry Potter uses it to defeat the notorious Voldemort. As such, it is not the slightest surprise that it is a part of Hogwarts Legacy.

It is a damage-dealing spell and will be helpful against numerous foes. Here is how to get it in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Unlock Expelliarmus Spell in Hogwarts Legacy

You will get the Expelliarmus Spell in Hogwarts Legacy through story progression just a few hours into the game. You will need to complete a quest given to you by professor Hecat in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

It is part of the second assignment, during which you will need to fulfill two objectives:

  • Dodge ten attacks
  • Inflict damage to five enemies by using Incendio

You can complete these two assignments whenever you are in free roam or completing main missions; just make sure you have the Incendio spell unlocked.

While roaming around and exploring the magical world, engage in combat, and just before you are about to be hit by an enemy attack, dodge-roll to avoid the attack. Repeat this action successfully ten times to complete the first objective.

You will receive a pop-up notification that you have completed the objective.

After completing the first part of the quest, start using Incendio on your enemies.

There is another way to complete both objectives and get the Expelliarmus spell in Hogwarts Legacy. Find Crossed Wands side quest and a dueling area near the Floo Flame at the Clock Tower Courtyard. You will fight other wizards, and in later rounds, you will fight multiple opponents at once. This will cut the time you will spend searching for enemies outside of Hogwarts walls.

Once you have completed the objectives, return to Hecat, and you will get the Expelliarmus Spell as a reward for your efforts.
