If you thought potion-making was only a feature you needed to do in potions class, there’s much more to it. While many players are happy with just casting spells and ancient magic at enemies, potions are really useful in the hardest difficulty. Once you unlock the talent tree, you’ll see many options to make potions much more powerful. One of the best defensive potions in the game right now is the Edurus Potion. Beyond having an excellent effect, this concoction will save you from many attacks when fighting certain enemies in the game. Today we’ll tell you how to get and make an Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to get an Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

While you can craft almost anything in the game, buying things is also valid. The easiest way to get an Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy is by going to J. Pippins Potions and buying one for 300 Galleons. While this is a quick option, brewing several inside your Room of Requirement is much better. Given how you’ll use this potion a lot in combat, it is better to get a big stock of them

How to make an Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

To make the Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need a few things. While you can brew this one in the Potions classroom, we recommend waiting until you unlock the Room of Requirement. This will make brewing a lot easier, and you can make even more potions in one go. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Unlock the Room of Requirement
  • Get some Ashwinder Eggs
  • Get some Mongrel Fur
  • Go to your potions station and start brewing

While other potions require reagents commonly found in the world, creating this potion will involve some fighting. Ashwinder Eggs appear near Mooncalf Dens. Mongrel Fur is a bit harder to obtain. Check on your map for locations that say “Mongrel Den.” These places are the best ones when it comes to getting Mongrel Fur. So, if you want to get and make an Edurus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to get as many of these ingredients as possible. Now, you can go and explore this beautiful world while collecting things for potion-making.
