There is a new challenge each week, during which you need to complete different tasks. The latest challenge tasks you to become a mechanical engineer. This might not be your dream career, but it can provide a hefty sum and make you rich. Nevertheless, it is not an easy feat, but we are here to help you. This guide will show you how to become a mechanical engineer in BitLife.

BitLife: How to Become a Mechanical Engineer

To become a Mechanical Engineer in BitLife, you need to complete a university degree in Engineering.

Follow these steps to become a Mechanical Engineer in BitLife:

  1. First, you will need to age up your character to 18 years old.
  2. Around this time, your character will finish high school. Keep your smart stats high at all times. This will make it easier for your character to get accepted into a university.
  3. Choose the university and select Engineering as your degree. If you can’t find it on your first attempt, age up your character, close it, and enter the BitLife app again.
  4. Once your character finishes their studies and has the diploma in their hands, it is time to search for a Mechanical Engineer job in BitLife.

You need to make a distinction between two similar positions in BitLife:

  • Chemical Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineer

Chemical Engineer has a purple flask emoji next to the title and the text ‘Chemical Engineer” in the job description.

Mechanical Engineer is marked with a grey gear emoji next to the job title, while the ‘Mechanical Engineer’ career is in the job description.

You will need to apply to a Mechanical Engineer tier I level job if you want to become a Mechanical Engineer in BitLife. There is no chance you skip this and immediately get a Mechanical Engineer III level job or a VP of Engineering.
