Before The Sims 4: Growing Together expansion came out, there was only one place where you could find the Movie Theater. Now, there is another option that will give you the possibility to spend some free time eating overpriced popcorn and snacks and watching a movie that you can’t yet view at home. Though, you can only access it from the new map that you get with the Growing Together expansion, San Sequoia. That means, if you want to visit the Movie Theater, you have to have the Growing Together expansion. Keep reading to learn where to find the Movie Theater in The Sims 4 Growing Together.

Considering the Movie Theater can’t be found on the map at all, it can be pretty difficult to find.

In order to find the Movie Theater, you have to have the San Sequoia map, which can be obtained in the Growing Together expansion pack for The Sims 4.

Once you’ve started a new life in the San Sequoia map, you can access your phone in order to do some traveling. Select the green “Travel” option on your phone in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. A map of the city will pop up.

On the map, you will notice that the Movie Theater isn’t specifically marked. The best thing you can do is travel to a location that is near the Movie Theater and walk the rest of the way.

The Movie Theater can be found in the Anchorpoint Wharf area of the map, and is closest to the Anchorpoint Library. Travel to the Anchorpoint Library and walk across the street to the East.

You will know you’ve found the Movie Theater when you see it, since it had signs on the front of the building showing the movies that are currently playing.

You can interact with the Movie Theater and choose to watch a movie either alone or with some friends. Each movie costs 15 Simoleons and will raise your stats a little bit, all the while keeping you entertained and killing some time.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
