Players could create characters within Barbarian, Sorcerer, and Rogue classes in the first early access. Now, for the second Open Beta that launches on March 24 and goes through March 26, Blizzard has added Druid and Necromancer classes.
Unfortunately, the Paladin class is nowhere to be seen. This comes as a massive surprise since you are battling the hordes of demons directly from hell, and Paladin/Crusader class should be a natural choice. Nevertheless, for now, this isn’t the case.
The Paladin class made its first appearance in Diablo 2 and has become a staple in fights against the demons.
However, there is a chance that the Paladin class will set foot in the world of Sanctuary. Returning to Diablo 3, we can see that the Crusader class was brought to the game in the following expansion.
There is a chance that Paladin will be playable in Diablo 4 with a DLC pass the official launch. The DLC culture in modern gaming has changed in comparison to older games. As a result of this change, we might see the first DLC sooner than we hope for. This can bring back the Paladin class in Diablo 4.
