After you make it through the Town Hall, you can finally work on figuring out how to get inside the church in Resident Evil 4. If you remember back to the first Chapter, you should know that the Church is where you are supposed to be heading to find the girl you are on the hunt for. How to Get Inside the Church in Resident Evil 4
When you finally arrive at the Church, you will find it littered with Gravestones, along with a Ganado that is working to dig up a new grave. If you are quick and quiet, you can sneak up on the Ganado and perform a stealth attack on him.
Before you try to head inside the Church, turn back around to where you came from and check out the small building there. You can collect some Handgun Ammo inside, as well as take out another Ganado with a stealth attack.
Head back to the Church entrance and look at the gate. There is a device blocking you from entering the gate, so you will have to find another way inside.
Head around the back of the Church and enter through the side door.
Inside you should see quite a bit of information crucial to Leon’s case and helping him complete his goal.
Take a look around, making sure to inspect everything you can, including the map, which will update your map and show you the next location you need to head to. There is also a fire on the table that you can inspect, too, a photograph.
Head over to the Typewriter to save your game before you go any further.
Exit the room through the Trapdoor, which will lead you out toward the back of the Church.
