A new character reveals, and the gameplay trailer for Tekken 8 showed off the returning character of the fighting heiress Lili. With this, the game also revealed new gameplay and costumes for her. Bandai’s announcement was made during the MIXUP tournament in Lyon, France.
Many fans guessed and theorized about Lili’s return, given that she’s the rival of Asuka (who was already announced for the game). In addition to her announcement, Bandai Namco Entertainment talked about her new look through General Manager and Tekken 8 developer Katsuhiro Harada. Jasmine Darnell, an artist who in the past worked on other series like the Wonder Woman #797 cover, designed Lili’s costume for the game.
Lili has been a notable character since her introduction to Tekken 5. Since then, she has appeared in 7 and 8, along with other games like Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Are you ready for the release after watching the trailer of Lili in Tekken 8? Currently, there is no release date for Tekken 8. However, it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, Harada confirmed that the game will support Crossplay and Rollback Netcode.
Other revealed characters include Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith, Ling Xiaoyu, Jun Kazama, Jack-8, Lars Alexandersson, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, and Nina Williams. It is currently unknown which characters will be next on the reveal list.
