Honkai Star Rail‘s Equilibrium Level 2 is a crucial aspect of character progression that unlocks upgrade options and better player rewards. The concept of balance and harmony may sound like a foreign concept in most games, but not in HoYoverse’s. With the introduction of Equilibrium Levels, players can now strike a balance between their character’s power and the difficulty of their opponents. It’s like a game of seesaw —increase your Equilibrium Level, and enemies become tougher to beat, but the rewards become more valuable. But how does one increase their Equilibrium Level in Honkai: Star Rail?

In Honkai Star Rail, the Equilibrium Level resembles Genshin Impact‘s World Level. It works in the same way where ranking up increases the difficulty of enemies and bosses but rewards players with better loot and resources. This system is linked to Trailblaze Level, meaning increasing it will unlock the “Trial of the Equilibrium” quest. Upon completion, it will move you to the next Equilibrium Level.
How to Level up to Equilibrium Level 2 in Honkai Star Rail
Getting Equilibrium Level 2 requires reaching Trailblaze Level 20 and completing the Trial of the Equilibrium quest. But players should approach this challenge cautiously, as blindly attempting it can lead to disaster. Adjusting difficulty levels and focusing on completing quests and daily activities can help you level up faster and prepare for the more formidable challenges ahead.

How To Get Keys of Inspiration in Honkai Star Rail
To get Equilibrium Level 2 in Honkai Star Rail, players must first reach Trailblaze Level 20. To increase your Trailblazer level, complete story chapters and side quests, participate in daily missions and participate in special events that offer Trailblazer EXP as a reward.
Once this is achieved, a disembodied voice will guide them to the Trial of the Equilibrium quest. This quest requires players to travel to a specific location and clear out challenging enemies in an instanced domain.
It’s important to note that blindly attempting the Trial is not advised. The higher the Equilibrium tier, the higher the enemy level cap. Instead, players should focus on completing quests and daily activities to level up faster. Farming for relics, upgrade materials, and Light Cones is essential, but reaching significant breakpoints in the story is critical to increasing character power.
Players can adjust the difficulty level of Calyx runs and other activities with the Roman numerals on the challenge screens. Completing the Trial of the Equilibrium will raise the Equilibrium Level to 2. In turn, level 2 unlocks a range of upgrade options and better rewards. Level 2 is just the second step, as Equilibrium levels go up to 6 at the moment.
