Surprise Leak: The Final Two FromSoftware Elden Ring Nightreign Classes Are Out!

When the beta for Elden Ring: Nightreign launched, FromSoftware only allowed players to try out a limited selection of character classes. Until now, only six out of the game’s eight playable roles had been officially revealed. While there’s been no new announcement from the developers, recent leaks have uncovered the final two hidden types: Revenant and Executor. The discovery came from a promotional image for Elden Ring: Nightreign keychains, which featured all eight character options, including the two previously unrevealed ones.

It seems these acrylic charms will debut during FromSoftware’s events in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. While fans can purchase them at the venue, the company also plans to offer them as capsule toy products via mail order after the event.

As for the two newly revealed archetypes, there are still no official descriptions of their abilities or lore. However, leaks have surfaced that might hint at their gameplay roles. The Revenant, for instance, appears as a woman holding a lyre.

The prevailing theory is that she may be a summoner class in Elden Ring: Nightreign, as the director previously hinted that one of the new archetypes would fill that role. Another leak also showcases skeletal monsters resembling the Tibia Mariners’ summons from the original game, further supporting this idea.

As for the Executor archetype in Elden Ring: Nightreign, even less is known compared to the Revenant. Some fans speculate that this character might wield a katana, but unfortunately, nothing has been confirmed. Unlike the Revenant, whose keychain clearly shows her holding a lyre, the Executor’s weapon is not very visible in the promotional image, leaving much of their identity and combat style a mystery.

Many fans are simply excited to see new information about Elden Ring: Nightreign. The Revenant, in particular, has been getting a lot of attention thanks to her striking appearance. Some players are already planning to main her class based on looks alone. “As a Monster Hunter hunting horn user, I have to at least give the class a chance,” one Redditor remarked, echoing the sentiment of fans drawn to her unique design.

Of course, there are still plenty of fans who are intrigued by the Executor. Many found it amusing that, unlike the Revenant, the Executor is completely clad in armor, making it impossible to tell their gender. As one Redditor joked,

“Are you a man or a woman?”

“I am a nightfarer.”

“What gender are you?”

“Blade.”

“Yeah, but what’s in your pants?”

“Death.”
